    Description

Here is an original program (Playbill) from the FORREST THEATRE (49th Street West of Broadway) for the play called,
"Paola and Francesca" - starring Jane Cowl - which opened in April of 1929.
What is fascinating about this program is the 2-page CENTERFOLD (centered at the staples on pages 8 and 9)
    with a PICTURE of
GROUCHO MARX promoting OLD GOLD CIGARETTES!!!
Imagine this.  In quotations GROUCHO says, "Will the gentleman who just coughed,
kindly step to the box office, for a package of Old Golds?"
Whether you bid on this or not - just read this!!
It also says GROUCHO MARX of the Four Marx Brothers...
now starring in one of the biggest Broadway hits of the year, "Animal Crackers".
This program is in excellent condition for it's nearly 100 years of age.  All 18 pages are held tight to the spine.
There is other color advertising as well as the back cover showing
1928 National Open Golf Champion, Johnny Farrell promoting LUCKY STRIKE Cigarettes.
