    Description

    There are approximately 100 pieces here.  These are programs, cast lists, announcements and newspaper clippings.  Most are theatrical plays, most from Philadelphia theatres and almost all from the last decade of the 19th century or the first decade of the 20th century.   I'd estimate that 80 of the items are text and 20 or so are illustrations cut from publications.  I've tried in the photos to provide a sense of the content and the condition of this lot.  Includes Henry Irving and Ellen Terry in The Merchant of Venice and Robespierre.  Let me know if I can provide any additional information on this item.
