Find The PiBB Girl - Rare Coca-Cola Marketing Material from 1980 For sale is a rare set of Find The PiBB Girl marketing materials from 1980. The Find The PIBB Girl was a 1980 Coca-Cola promotion targeting schools. Apparently, the idea was to identify the girl that possessed the desired features and win ,000. The only problem was, Coke's idea of the ideal girl didn't involve minorities. The ideal girl would have the hair of Pam Dawber, the mouth of Debby Boone, the eyes of Susan Anton, the nose of Kristy McNichol and the face shape of Melissa Sue Anderson. Suffice to say, this promotion caused an uproar and was quickly abandoned. Maybe not the scale of the later "New Coke" debacle, but none too smart. The marketing kit is complete and includes:- Promotional folder- School poster- Letter to school- Contest rules sheet- Publicity ideas- Press release- Point-of-sale poster- T-shirt order form- Photo of PIBB girl- Biographical information - stars- Biographical information - artistThanks for looking. With expected wear on the front and back cover. No rips.
