My kiteboarding buddy down in Cali was the main engineer for this company so he designed this awesome board. The first time I tried it in Southern Oregon where we kite I was blown away! These are so awesome and it was just because of some lame investors that crushed the company due to their attempt at launching an electric scooter.
But I ended up with a few of these boards along with enough parts to set a few people up with what you'll need to keep it going. The black wheels were originally launched for the original crowd funding backers and they are good to have because while the red wheels (included on the board) are cool they don't stay red for long once you start to use them. So you'll get the original set of red wheels on the board as well as another set of black wheels as a spare.
You'll also get an extra PowerShift battery and these are expensive batteries because of the high voltage they run in order to drive these boards at a top speed in testing up over 20 mph! This I believe was with a 160lb rider so results will vary and also depending on the slope. By the way these boards are super awesome because they have regenerative braking so it actually chargers the battery when going downhill - the important consideration is that it's not advised to take a fully charged battery
immediately Downhill
because that could overcharge it!
As I recall the range on a full charge when riding on flat ground is about 10 miles per battery but you'll have two batteries and they are easy to swap out. Please note that range will vary depending on the terrain and the weight of the rider.
You'll also get two spare motors. These motors are in the rear wheels which is one of the coolest things about how these boards were engineered. I haven't heard of these motors wearing out but you'll be set if they ever do because you'll have two spare motors.
You'll also have 2 spare trucks. Maybe that's overkill but it never hurts to be prepared and they are nice trucks so this will be sure to keep you on the road for many, many years to come.
The one thing that's not included is a helmet because those are very specific to the size of your head and you may already have one but it is recommended that you wear a helmet when riding any skateboard.
Additionally you'll also get two spare (plus the one with the original accessories so 3 total) battery chargers. These are exclusive battery chargers because of the high voltage and the magnetic electrode attachment.
Then you'll get two replacement grip tapes that are specifically made and cut for the Inboard M1 plus the full size bag that holds the included wrench, spare battery, charger etc. so you can even take this on an airplane if you choose.
This will all ship in the original Inboard box if I can fit all the extra parts in otherwise I'll add a second box for whatever I can't fit in. It will likely cost me more to ship than the quote!
