    Measures 9 1/8" x 11 7/8" with 15 pages LOADED with cool graphics, ads and opera information. This was the very first season for the Manhattan, operated by Oscar Hammerstein, grandfather of American Lyricist Oscar Hammerstein II (The Sound of Music). It was very successful and gave the Metropolitan a run for their money...and then abruptly shut down in 1910. It wasn't known until recently that the Metropolitan made a deal with Oscar, 1.2 million to close down and not run any more theaters for ten years...
