This durable tin or metal cube features sketches of Christmas holiday scenes on all four sides. A hand-crank on the side will play "We Wish You A Merry Christmas" tune but you have to hold it a certain way (I did it with the bear facing out towards my child so he could see it pop out and that seemed to work, but when facing me it didn't do it). The lid pops open and a cute brown Teddy Bear with a Santa Hat comes out. It pops out just as it should with no issues and you can also open it without cranking it.

    About the Teddy Bear:
While on a hunting trip back in 1902, President Teddy Roosevelt captured a bear and then spared its life, claiming it was poor sportsmanship to kill it. A political cartoonist created a heartwarming cartoon about it and America became enamored with the image of the soft heart of a bear pardoned by the president. A
New York store owner and his wife handmade a few bears based on the cartoons and they were called "Teddy's Bear" named honorably after President Teddy Roosevelt. This cute Jack-in-the-Box is a great memento for teddy bear collectors and is in very good vintage condition.
