  • Condition: Internally, the souvenir program is in great, vintage condition, with no missing or torn pages, no writing on any of the pages, and minimal soiling and wear (which does include diagonal creases to the bottom outside corners of the first four pages). However, there is soiling and significant wear to both front and rear covers. The wear includes a 1 inch split along the top of the spine; a 2.5 inch split along the bottom of the spine; a small chip and diagonal creasing to the bottom outside corner of the front cover; and diagonal creasing along with a 1.5 inch tear to the outside corner of the rear cover (see the final photograph).

    Up for auction is a vintage souvenir program book, measuring approximately 9.125 by 12 inches in size.  The twenty page Souvenir Program is for Maurice Schwartz's "Yoshe Kalb", playing at the Yiddish Art Theatre in New York, for the first time in 1932, and featuring Maurice Schwartz, along with the original Yiddish Art Theatre cast of that 1932 production.
